In recent years I've developed a taste for Pepsi. Before that, I was a die-hard Coca-Cola fan.
A few days ago Wilbert purchased a twelve-pack of Wild Cherry Pepsi, which was my first go around with the flavor. I have to admit I liked it, although I don't think I'll drink it as often as I do regular Pepsi.
There's just something not right about eating a turkey sandwich for lunch along with cherry-flavored cola. Regular Pepsi, on the other hand, goes quite well with a sandwich and chips.
Some habits never change.
*POSTSCRIPT 08/26/03: I tried Vanilla Pepsi for the first time this afternoon. It kind of reminds me of cream soda, only stronger. The taste isn't bad, but it's not something I'd have on a daily basis. On the other hand, Vanilla Pepsi would make a perfect cocktail mixer.
