Flavorsome Fry

Breakfast for dinner is one of my favorite meals. Although I rarely eat breakfast per say, I love breakfast-type food for dinner.

I was extremely naughty tonight and made fried sausages, fried potatoes in butter and sausage gravy. Totally and completely unhealthy – however, it's not something I do on a regular basis. It was certainly tasty while we consumed the meal, but now I feel like hell. I'm used to streamed or baked foods. The massive injection of grease into my system has left me green around the gills.

So why did I do it? I can count on one hand the occasions I make such an unhealthy – but highly flavorsome – meal every year. It must be a demonic craving of the mind and body, forcing me to the stove, propelling me to add glob after glob of butter. And don't forget the salt. Fried potatoes are tasteless without adequate and highly elevated sodium levels. Since the meal was destructive to start with, why not go all the way?

Before I retire for the night, I'm grabbing hold of Wilbert's twenty-pound weights and doing a few sets. I'll either feel worse, or I can go to bed feeling almost human.
