Monday's Lunch

Posted Mon, 06/06/05

Wilbert made lunch today. His offering was a taste extravaganza, as usual.

He split a French bread loaf in half that came pre-coated with garlic, and then layered the insides with bologna, salami, ham, sliced sweet onion and cheddar cheese. He broiled the sandwiches so they crusted a bit on top. I could only eat one-quarter of mine, while he polished off his. I'm sure we'll reek of garlic and other spices for at least twenty-four hours.

Cape Cod Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips

On the side, we had Cape Cod potato chips. If I'm going to eat chips, the kettle-cooked variety is my favorite.
