Potato Gravy Bowl
1 or 2 small potatoes, peeled & cleaned
1 turkey hot dog, cut lengthwise & cubed
1 small can (4 oz.) kernel corn, drained
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 packet (1 oz.) McCormick Country Gravy Mix
Nonstick cooking spray
Cut the peeled and cleaned potatoes lengthwise; slice into cubes. Cut the turkey hot dog lengthwise; slice into cubes. Coat a skillet with nonstick cooking spray; add the cubed potatoes and hot dog. Mix well. Season with salt and black pepper; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally. In a small saucepan, prepare the country gravy mix. Make sure to use gravy mix that comes in "powdered" form and calls for water to blend. When potatoes are tender, remove from heat and place in a bowl. Add kernel corn. Ladle gravy mixture on top. There is no need to stir the dish as the gravy seeps to the bottom of the bowl.
Note: The dish can also be made using onions and green bell peppers.
