Berty Soames

Bertrice "Berty" Soames was a waitress at Bruno's Cafe and known to the fount of local gossip, lending her knowledge to notable newcomers such as Thomas Cimarelli, Désirée Sansovino and Luke Castaneda.

She dated Kevin Larkin in her younger days. She had one younger sister, Katie, who went to school with Shannon Larkin.

Even after receiving her degree in business from Larkin City University, Berty continued to work at Bruno's Cafe. However, in 2015, Shannon Larkin hired Berty to be the Larkin family chef. Berty had her own bedroom suite at the mansion (once the rooms of Clause Mondoux), where she worked until retiring at the age of seventy-two in 2021. After retirement, she moved back into her family home on Seacove Lane in Larkin City.

Bery was jolly, with short blonde hair (with black roots), and dark blue eyes.

She appears in The Keeper's Journal, Megan's Legacy and Limb of Iniquity.
