Mayor David Azoulay

David Azoulay was the mayor of Larkin City from 1996 to 2012.

Under the Maine Constitution, mayors were elected every four years, with a two-term consecutive limit. However, the people of Larkin City voted to change their mayoral limits in 2004 because of David Azoulay's popularity. He was eligible to be elected mayor four times, making it possible for him to serve for sixteen consecutive years. He won the 2004 election in a landslide.

The Azoulay family were residents of Larkin City since its founding, establishing the highly successful Azoulay Gems (jewelers) on the harbor, and Azoulay Dry Cleaners on Main Street. David was scrupulously honest.

He went to school with Sean and Shannon Larkin. He and his wife Lydia had two daughters, Deborah and Rachel (the latter of which became a victim of Larkin City's serial killer).

David was of medium height and wiry, with dark brown hair and eyes, and a large smile.

David Azoulay appears in Hearts Desires, The Twilight and Megan's Legacy.
