Classic Book Review: The Princes in the Tower

"The Princes in the Tower" by Alison Weir. Published 1992; ISBN: 0-345-38372-9.

Review written by Deborah O'Toole includes information about the author, where to find copies of the book, story backgrounds, front and/or back cover blurbs and facsimiles of original cover art.

Sample from the review: Shakespeare wrote about Richard III more than one hundred years after he died at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. Even then it was commonly believed that Richard III was the diabolical mind behind the deaths of two adolescent Plantagenet Princes. Imagine the shock and horror people experienced when the event was still fresh in their minds. It was perhaps one of the most talked-about scandals in Europe at the time. Many aspects of medieval life were barbaric, but the murder of children was no less unimaginable than it is now.
