Vanilla Vinaigrette

The following recipe from McCormick Kitchens sounds interesting:

 

Spring Vanilla Vinaigrette

1/3 C olive oil

3 TBS white wine vinegar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. tarragon leaves

1/4 tsp. black pepper

1/2 tsp. sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

 

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Chill before tossing with salad.

I'm a salad and vanilla fiend, so I'll be trying the mixture.

 

Today was rather warm, so Wilbert fired-up the barbeque this afternoon. We enjoyed marinated steaks, baked potatoes and mixed vegetables. Next time around I'll make a salad with the vanilla vinaigrette.
