Quatre Epices

Four-Spice Blend

1 TBS white pepper

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1 tsp. ground ginger

1 tsp. grated nutmeg

Combine ingredients and store in a sealable container in a dry place.

Note: Quatre Epices is typically used in pate, ragouts, sausage, soups and vegetable dishes. It is also an ingredient in Confit de Canard (Confit Duck Legs).
