Syrian summer drink
3/4 C chilled water
3 TBS date syrup (dibis; also known as date molasses)
2 tsp. rosewater
1 TBS pine nuts or blanched almond halves
1 TBS golden raisins
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together except the nuts. Pour mixture into individual glasses, top with nuts and serve.
