2 C cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 C cold margarine, diced
3/4 C low-fat buttermilk
Preheat oven to 450-degrees F. In a medium mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until lumps are pea-sized or smaller. Stir in buttermilk with a fork. Press dough into a ball. On a lightly floured surface roll dough into a 6x10" rectangle. Fold in short ends to meet in the center. Fold dough in half so it is four layers thick. Roll dough into 6" square. With a floured knife cut into 12 squares. Place 1 1/2" apart on an un-greased baking sheet. Bake ten to twelve minutes, until lightly browned.
