Syrian green beans with olive oil
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen cut green beans
1/4 C olive oil
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 C fresh cilantro, chopped
Place green beans in a large cooking pot; drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender. Add cilantro and garlic; continue to cook just until cilantro wilts.
Suggestion: Serve as a side dish with warmed pita bread.
