Nonstick cooking spray
5 C popcorn, popped
1 C candy corn
1 C salted peanuts, chopped
1/2 C butter or margarine
3 C miniature marshmallows
4 drops red food coloring
3 drops yellow food coloring
4 sticks red or black licorice, cut into thirds
Coat a muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a large bowl, combine popcorn, candy corn and peanuts; set aside. Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in miniature marshmallows and red and yellow food colorings; stir until color becomes orange. When the marshmallows are thoroughly melted, pour over the popcorn mixture; stir to evenly combine candy corn, chopped peanuts and marshmallows. Fill muffin pan with batter; insert a piece of licorice to appear as a stem, and then mold batter around it. Allow to stand until mixture is firm, about ten to fifteen minutes. Serve.
